Please note that Giz Technology does not provide technical support for troubleshooting iPhone POP3/IMAP mail setup.
Below please find instructions on how to setup a POP3/IMAP mail account on your iPhone.
1. Add email account on iPhone
* If this is the first account you are setting up on iPhone, simply tap Mail and then select Other
* If this is an additional account please go to the Home screen > Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account
2. Enter account information Select POP/IMAP and then add the following information:
Name – The user’s Display Name
Address – The user’s email address
Description – How you want to identify the specific email account, for example "work", or "home email"Incoming Mail Server Host Name – Please enter your Incoming Mail Server. You can use, 'mail.yourdomain.com
Username – The user's email address
Password – The user's mailbox passwordOutgoing Mail Server Host Name -- Please enter your Outgoing Mail Server. You can use, 'mail.yourdomain.com'
Username – The user's email address
Password – The user's mailbox passwordPlease note: The iPhone should detect the Port Settings. On our test iPhone at Giz Technology:
Incoming Setting Use
SSL: Off
Authentication: Password
Delete from server: Never (you can set as you wish)
Server Port: Default should be 465Outgoing Settings Use
SSL: Off
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 263. Complete the setup process - click SAVE and wait for the iPhone to test your incoming and outgoing mail settings and connect to your mailbox.
